Personal data is processed for the following purposes: 

  • the provision of psychological counseling services,
  • enabling contact regarding appointment scheduling (by phone, email, or through online booking systems),
  • sending newsletters and marketing communications via email (upon providing separate consent),
  • order fulfillment and the sale of digital products (e.g., e-books),
  • conducting marketing activities (e.g., social media campaigns),
  • to perform website analytics (after you have consented to the use of cookies).

 

3. Types of Data Processed

Depending on the situation, the following personal data may be processed: 

  • first and last name, phone number, email address,
  • home address, date of birth,
  • Tax ID number or company name (for invoicing purposes),
  • data provided in the content of messages sent via email, phone, or online booking systems,
  • analytical data regarding interactions with the newsletter (e.g., email opens, link clicks).

 

Obligation to Provide Information: Providing personal information is voluntary; however, failure to do so will prevent us from scheduling an appointment, processing payments, fulfilling an order for a digital product, subscribing you to the newsletter, or providing psychological counseling services.

 

4. Data Processing on Social Media

The administrator maintains social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Spotify) to promote its business. User data from interactions with these profiles (e.g., likes, comments, private messages) is processed in accordance with the privacy policies of those platforms. The administrator has access to aggregated statistical data (e.g., Facebook Insights), which is used to analyze the effectiveness of marketing activities.

5. Online booking and payment systems

In order to facilitate appointment scheduling and payment processing, the Administrator uses the services of third-party providers. Depending on the system currently in use, the data necessary to schedule an appointment or process a transaction (first name, email address, payment information) is transmitted directly to the operators of those systems.

The administrator does not store payment card information.

 

6. Consultation Tools

The Administrator provides psychological support services in the form of in-person and online consultations. To conduct online and telephone consultations, the Administrator uses the following communication channels:

 

  • Phone — voice calls without the use of external platforms,
  • WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland) — chat content is end-to-end encrypted. Privacy Policy: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy”,
  • Another tool agreed upon with the client — if a tool specified by the client is used (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom), the client acknowledges that the data is processed by the operator of the tool selected by the client, in accordance with that operator’s privacy policy.

 

7. Newsletter and Marketing Communications

An external provider—MailerLite (UAB “MailerLite,” Gedimino Ave. 44A, 01110 Vilnius, Lithuania)—supports the distribution of the newsletter and the management of the mailing list. MailerLite’s Privacy Policy: https://www.mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy.

 

Consent to receive the newsletter may be withdrawn at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting the Administrator directly. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to its withdrawal.

 

8. Legal Basis for Data Processing

Data processing is based on: 

  • Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR – consent of the individual (e.g., newsletter, contact),
  • Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR—performance of a contract or actions taken prior to entering into a contract (e.g., scheduling appointments, fulfilling orders),
  • Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR—compliance with a legal obligation (e.g., issuing invoices, maintaining records),
  • Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR—the Controller’s legitimate interest (e.g., direct marketing, website analytics).

 

9. Recipients of Personal Data

Data may be transferred to: 

  • reservation and payment system providers listed in item 5,
  • the operators of the communication tools listed in paragraph 6 (WhatsApp/Meta) – only to the extent necessary to conduct online consultations,
  • the newsletter distribution system provider (MailerLite) listed in paragraph 7,
  • the Medycyna Grabieniec facility—for in-person appointments,
  • the hosting company dhosting.pl—for the purpose of storing data on its servers,
  • the provider of the Fakturownia.pl invoicing system—for the purpose of issuing accounting documents,
  • entities that support marketing and analytical activities (Google, Meta) – data may be transferred outside the EEA based on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

 

10. Transfer of Data Outside the EEA

Personal data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA) to entities such as Google, Meta, and Stripe. Such transfers are based on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, which ensure an adequate level of data protection.

 

11. Data Retention Period

Personal data is retained for the following period: 

  • resulting from applicable laws—this applies to psychological records as well as accounting and tax data,
  • necessary for the provision of the service or to maintain contact—until the end of our business relationship,
  • until consent is withdrawn—if the processing was based on consent (e.g., a newsletter).

 

12. Cookies and Analytics

This website uses cookies to: 

  • to ensure the proper functioning of the website,
  • collecting statistics using Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland)—data may be transferred outside the EEA on the basis of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission,
  • to enable marketing activities (e.g., displaying personalized ads through Google and Meta).

 

Cookies are stored on the User’s device, and you can disable them in your browser settings. You can also manage your consent settings using the banner that appears when you first visit the website.

 

13. Automated Data Processing and Profiling

The Administrator does not make decisions regarding Users based solely on automated processing of personal data, including profiling, that would produce legal effects on them or similarly significantly affect them (Article 22 of the GDPR).

 

Profiling for marketing purposes, however, takes place on third-party platforms (Google, Meta, MailerLite) and involves analyzing User behavior (e.g., pages visited, interactions with content, opening emails) in order to tailor the ads and messages displayed. Users have the right to object to such profiling by using the privacy settings of the respective platforms or by withdrawing their consent to marketing cookies.

 

14. Rights of Data Subjects

Every person whose data is being processed has the right to: 

  • access to your data and receive a copy of it,
  • corrections to the data,
  • the right to have data erased (“the right to be forgotten”),
  • restrictions on processing,
  • data transfer,
  • objection to processing,
  • withdrawal of consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal of consent).
